Minutes: October 8 2010

I. Call to order
·        Mrs. Bernard called to order the regular meeting of the FHS FCCLA at 7:30 AM on Friday October 8, 2010, in room 1428.

II. Roll call
·        The following persons were present (attach sign in sheet)

III. Approval of minutes from last meeting
·        Minutes were approved as read

IV. Open issues
·        Dues
o   $16.00
o   Pay Up so we can affiliate
o   Money is sent by November 1
·        Shirts
o   You must pay $11.00 before you receive your shirt
·        Hall of Fame Luncheon
o   Friday October 22 11:00 am – 1-2:00 pm
o   As many servers as possible SIGN UP
o   Same as a field trip (passing and no discipline issues)
o   FCCLA Shirts, black/dark jeans and closed toe shoes
·        Homecoming Parade
o   Saturday Oct 23
o   Truck and trailer
§  Bianca
o   Trailer theme: Jungle
o   Need decorations
o   Decorate that morning? Line up 8:30am; Moving at 10am
o   NO CANDY
·        Fall Booth
o   Saturday October 23 12:00-4:00pm
§  Duck pond
o   Need candy & treats for booth as a fundraiser.
o   Pond provided by Lueva

·        INSTALLATION CEREMONY

FCCLA @ State Fair of TX

 FCCLA attended the State Fair of Texas on Agricultural Awareness Day. Hooray! Free tickets in!!

 Right after we donated our food

FCCLA members were assigned  to taste some wild foods while at the fair. And I did my fair share too (haha!!).



 Chocolate covered strawberry fried in waffle batter.

 Okay, the brochure said best taste for 2010... Fried frito pie.

 Some fried cheese curds.

 Fried smores



 And the quintessential funnel cake.

Minutes: September 16, 2010 OFFICER Meeting

I. Call to order
  • Mrs. Bernard called to order the regular meeting of the FHS FCCLA at 3:30 PM on September 16, 2010, in room 1428.
